Steven Linne For Florida House

Vote for Steven Linne on/before August 18th 2020!

Our forefathers fought and died fighting against tyranny and created the greatest country the world has ever seen. But, now our country is under attack from within.

Our greatest threat to our freedoms and liberties are our own elected officials.

They have forgotten the oath they made to defend our constitution. Instead, they use their offices to increase their wealth while slowly chipping away at our constitutional rights. Then, when disaster strikes they are quick to take action but with no resolve.

I am tired of the lies and deceit.

It is very clear that our elected officials no longer represent the people.

Steven Linne received an "A" rating from the NRA

About me

I am a Republican Veteran and Constitutional Conservative whose served 8 years in the Navy, six of which where on Active duty Submarine service. I am 27 years old and have a wife and two children. Currently, I work full time at Tyndall AFB as an Information Systems Security Officer and I am now in the Navy Reserves.

I saw the election of Donald Trump in 2016 and it inspired me to run one day. Upon leaving Active duty I came back to my home state of Florida. From the moment we first arrived in Bay County we knew that we wanted to make this our home.

I decided to look into possibly running for local office, when I came upon the State House Representative Jay Trumbull's voting record. I found out that this so-called "strong conservative Republican" had caved into the left and voted for gun confiscation and raising the age from 18 to 21 to purchase long guns!

I was outraged that a Republican in my state voted for this and decided that I was going to give him a run for his money. I don't have any political experience but, I am well read and have learned what the job of a State Representative entails. The most important responsibility of a State Rep. is to protect our constitutional rights first and foremost!

Paired with the preservation of our civil liberties a State Rep. must make Florida better for all Floridians by ensuring our children are prepared by our education system to go out on their own at the age of eighteen, by promoting the nuclear family instead of single parenthood, by reducing tax-burden through the decrease in regulation and size of state government,  and by eliminating unconstitutional laws/regulations which hurt all Floridians. Lets leave behind a state that we cna be proud to hand down to our children!

My opponent

Jay Trumbull is a clear example of a politician out for his own interests. He is someone who flagrantly disregards the constitution on a whim and cares more about preservation of his status as an elected official then he does preserving our freedoms and liberties.

Below is a video in which I ask Jay Trumbull (the incumbent) why he voted for the "Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Safety Act" (SB 7026).

This law raised the age to buy long guns from 18 to 21, banned bump stocks, and instituted the "Red Flag Gun Law" which allows the state to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens. This law completely disregards our 4th amendment right to due process!

Mr. Trumbull has made a PAC video claiming that he's brought in "hundreds of thousands" to Bay County for Hurricane Michael Recovery when in reality all but one of the forty bills he introduced died. It was the State Senate that ended out coming up with the money. So, not only does he lie about something as important as Bay Counties Hurricane recovery money but, he votes for gun control while you aren't looking! Watch the video below to see me ask him why he voted for gun confiscation!
